Itinerary

Day 1 - May 31, 2024 - Friday - D We’ll depart Jenison Junior High at 5:00 am this morning for our exciting tour to the East Coast! We will stop at the Cleveland Zoo for some lunch and time to stretch our legs before heading out again for Albany, New York, where we will spend our first night. Day 2 - June 1, 2024 - Saturday - CB, L, & D An early start this morning will find us heading east to Boston. Our first stop will be at the famous Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. After some lunch and shopping time at Faneuil Hall Marketplace we will board the “Duck”, a W.W. II-style, amphibious landing vehicle, and cruise by all the places that make Boston the Birthplace of Freedom. We will have dinner at Dave & Busters before heading to our hotel for the night. Day 3 - June 2, 2024 - Sunday - CB, L, & D After breakfast we will visit Minuteman Historical Park, where the opening battle of the American Revolution took place. After some lunch we will visit The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum, for an afternoon of thrill seeking fun with 5 acres, 11 course aerial forest park with over 100 platforms connected by bridges and zip lines. We then head to our hotel in New Jersey for dinner and the night. Day 4 - June 3, 2024 - Monday - CB, L, & D Today, we will be exploring the “Big Apple”. Our morning will start with a visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, where we will learn of the events, the aftermath and continuing implications of September 11, 2001. After lunch we will take a walking tour through Central Park to see some of the locations where some of our favorite TV and movies have been filmed. Then onto Rockefeller Center where we will go up to the Top of the Rock for some breathtaking views of NYC. Finally, our evening will be spent in Times Square with dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Day 5 - June 4, 2024 - Tuesday - B, L, & D After breakfast we will tour the city from the top of a double decker bus. Our final stop in NYC is a heart-stopping thrill ride on a 70-foot speedboat, called The Beast, out to view the Statue of Liberty. After lunch we will head to Gettysburg for a guided tour of the battle field to understand the Battle of Gettysburg. After dinner we will check into our hotel. Day 6 - June 5, 2024 - Wednesday - CB, L, & D This morning we will visit the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitors Center and do some last minute souvenir shopping, before heading for Hershey Park. The afternoon and early evening will be spent enjoying the amusement rides at Hershey Park! Afterwards, we will reboard our motorcoach and head for home. Day 7 - June 6, 2024 - Thursday We will arrive back in Jenison around 8:00 am.
