NORTH SAGINAW ACADEMY EAST COAST TRIP May 28 - June 1, 2024
Trip Overview
- Transportation via deluxe highway motorcoach
- Three nights accommodations at a first-class hotel
- A visit to Flight 93 National Memorial, the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93, where we learn of the heroic actions of the passengers and crew on September 11
- A tour of Washington D.C., with a local guide, and visit historic sights, and memorials
- A tour of Howard University
- A tram ride through Arlington Cemetery to see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
- A visit to the National Constitution Center, see Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia
- A guided tour of Gettysburg National Military Park
- All taxes and tips included, with the exception of $5 per student for our bus driver’s tip, which will be collected the morning of departure
- All meals are included, with the exception of lunch on Day 1

Itinerary
Day 1 - May 28, 2024 - Tuesday - DWe will depart North Saginaw Academy school at 6:30 am for our exciting tour to The East Coast. We will make a stop and learn of the heroic actions of the passengers and crew at the Flight 93 National Memorial, on our way to Washington D.C. for the night.
Day 2 - May 29, 2024 - Wednesday - CB, L , & DWe will start our morning with a guided tour of our nations memorials. After lunch at Union Station we will head to Howard University for a tour of the college campus. Next is Arlington Cemetery to take a tram ride to witness the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After dinner we will head out of town for Philadelphia.
Day 3 - May 30, 2024 - Thursday - CB, L , & DAfter breakfast at the hotel, our morning will be spent visiting Philadelphia. We will visit Independence Hall, see the Liberty Bell and then visit the National Constitution Center that is filled with interactive displays. After lunch we will depart for Gettysburg. We will have a guided tour of the battlefield, and have dinner at the Farmhouse Restaurant before headingto our hotel in Gettysburg for the night.
Day 4 - May 31, 2024 - Friday - CB, L, & DOur morning will be spent at the Visitors Center in Gettysburg before departing for Hershey Park where we will spend our afternoon and evening before boarding the motorcoach for the ride home.
Day 5 - June 1, 2024 - SaturdayWe will arrive back home around 5:00 am.
